It spends the winter soaking up rain, and the summer sparkling in green. You’ll explore the full spectrum of this incredible part of the country; from deep forested trails, jagged mountain peaks, high alpine desert, and remote coastal islands. Climb, backpack and paddle your way through the land of orca, otter, and bald eagle on this classic wilderness adventure.

Hike through towering trees and fern-filled canyons until the jagged peaks of the North Cascades come into view. Spend six days in this spectacular wilderness, camping, cooking, navigating, and living comfortably outdoors. Your days will be full of mountain passes, fresh air, and spectacular views, and the confidence and competence you gain from living with the wild, out of your backpack.

Nestled in the high Oregon desert, the unique formation of Smith Rock rises up and dominates the landscape. This stunning strata is just asking to be climbed, and you’ll spend three days here mastering the art. Learn to tie in, belay and climb routes of varying difficulty. Culminate with a challenging and spectacular Tyrolean traverse of the Monkey’s Face.

Bounce, plunge, and cruise the wave trains of the scenic Deschutes River on a whitewater raft. You and your team will paddle the exciting rapids together as this river takes you deep into the backcountry. Camp on a sandy beach, count shooting stars, and savor the two days you’ll have swimming, rafting and basking in the beauty of the Deschutes.

Slip into the magical myriad of the San Juan islands on a wilderness sea kayaking expedition. Carrying all the essentials in your boat, you’ll explore an ecosystem unique to the Pacific Northwest, featuring otters, seals, bald eagles and constellations of starfish popular in these waters. Spend the night on a remote beach accessible only by boat and savor the San Juan’s most remote bounty.
