Chester, 20, from Middleburg, VA, steps into his first summer as a Moondance Trip Leader while studying Engineering at the University of Denver as a rising junior. He was a Moondance student on the Chamonix trip, an experience that strengthened his appreciation for shared adventure and time outdoors. Chester brings hands-on experience from Camp Seagull, where he served as a Counselor and a certified Alpine Tower Instructor responsible for belaying and high ropes instruction. He also contributed as a student counselor in high school, supporting dorm life and leading school tours, while serving as a three-year captain of his varsity mountain biking team, leading practices and trail building. Chester is excited to help create a summer that is active, fun, and full of memorable experiences for his students.

Hunter, 21, from Nashville, TN, steps into her first summer as a Trip Leader as an incoming junior at Sewanee: The University of the South. Hunter traveled on nine Moondance trips as a student across destinations from California to Chamonix to the Mystery trip. Her leadership experience includes being a counselor at Camp Merrie-Woode last summer, where she worked with rising high school sophomores and juniors. She also served as a Girls on the Run coach, mentoring and supporting young girls through confidence-building and teamwork. Hunter is excited to help create an incredible summer filled with connection, energy, and meaningful shared experiences for her students.

Having spent years as a student on Moondance trips, Lillian returns this summer for her first year as a leader. A New Orleans native and recent graduate of Vanderbilt University, she brings a well-rounded leadership background shaped by both academic and outdoor experiences. While at Vanderbilt, Lillian served as president of a pre-health advocacy organization, held a leadership role within the Honors College, and taught outdoor skills to local youth through Project Outdoors. Lillian approaches leadership with intention, helping her groups navigate challenges while building strong, supportive connections along the way. We are thrilled to have her as a part of our Moondance team this summer!
