Charlie, 20, grew up in Nashville, TN, and is a rising junior at Auburn University studying Business Administration. With a lifelong love for adventure, Charlie attended Camp Seagull and was a student on a life-changing Moondance trip to Kenya and Zanzibar in 2023. He brings a strong outdoor background, having earned his Eagle Scout rank, taught younger teens to sail, and actively working toward his Divemaster certification with a local dive shop. Last summer, Charlie gained valuable experience behind-the-scenes as a Communications Intern at Moondance HQ in Nashville. His diverse experience as both a student and an intern has propelled him to the leader role, and we are ecstatic to welcome him back for another summer!

Ella, 21, is a Denver native and a recent graduate of the University of Florida, where she studied Nutritional Sciences with a certificate in Spirituality and Health. A seasoned mentor, she has served as an Organic Chemistry TA and on the Executive Board of her sorority, though her heart for youth development was truly shaped by her years as a camper and counselor at Geneva Glen Camp. Ella is an accomplished world traveler, having recently completed a medical volunteer program in Tanzania and a solo-backpacking journey through Europe. Ella’s blend of outdoor skills and infectious positivity will be a highlight for her group, and we are so excited to welcome her to the Moondance family!

Katherine, 21, is from Plymouth, IN, and a rising senior at Tulane University, where she is earning a degree in Psychology and Public Health. Katherine's passion for adventure and leadership has been cultivated through extensive global experiences, including a gap year traveling through Thailand and South Africa, as well as assisting with endangered desert tortoise monitoring in the Mojave Desert. Katherine brings a wealth of experience in cultural immersion from her time volunteering at elephant sanctuaries and public health clinics abroad. Her ability to relate to students and her dedication to mentorship make her a valuable addition to our team, and we are so excited to welcome her for her first summer!
