Frankie Mayfield, 25, was born, bred and educated in Cincinnati, Ohio. Frank is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he pursued a degree in Commercial Music Production. Frankie’s greatest passion in life is music as he truly believes it can serve as the world’s universal language. He believes that one does not have to be great at playing an instrument to appreciate the details of a song, talent of a musician, lyrics and/or the community that music creates. Frankie has used his loved for music and appreciation for all different aspects of music in his daily life, as it has shown him and others the benefits of the little things in life. This is a sentiment that Frankie hopes to share with his students this summer- appreciating all the little things in life. Frankie’s creative, musical spirit coupled with his extroverted personality make him a great leader! Frankie first joined the Moondance family in the summer of 2021, where he led our Olympics trip out in Washington State. He later led our Midnight Sun Trip in Alaska in 2022 and our Dolomites trip last year. After moving to Denver this past fall, we are excited to have Frankie back with us to lead our British Columbia trip this summer!!
