My name is Hannah Wilson and I am from Ariton, Alabama. I recently graduated from Auburn University and joined Moondance HQ as a member on the Admissions team in August! I had not heard of Moondance until a friend sent me the website. She said the position looked like a good fit due to my past travel experiences. So, I came in not knowing anyone and basically no connections. I knew from the moment I walked into the office for my interview that working here was a special opportunity. It’s hard to believe that was five months ago. Now only two months in, I feel like I have known these people for years! Moondance Headquarters has created an atmosphere of unity and it shows through the staff’s happiness here. I noticed that in May while interviewing and I continue to see it since starting in August. It is evident that the culture at Moondance is unmatched.

My first Moondance trip experience was our Staff Culture Retreat in the Italian Dolomites! Getting to know the team on a personal level outside of the office is what makes this job one-of-a-kind — especially when you are trekking through one of the most beautiful places in the world. Moondance is full of interesting and intricate people who are invested in each other and their work! It’s unlike anything I could have ever expected to find in a job. My hope was to find a position where I was being fulfilled and also had the opportunity to fulfill others. In a short amount of time, I am confident that Moondance was the best decision for me! There is an indescribable feeling of fulfillment being able to work with a team of people who love each other and what they do. I am lucky to be a part of HQ and more importantly the Moondance community as a whole. I can’t wait for my first summer as a part of the team and being able to play a role in creating the Magic for all of our students in 2024!
