Corley, 24, hails from Mountain Brook, Alabama, and is a proud graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South, where he majored in Natural Resources. Corley's Moondance journey began as a student, where he explored the wonders of Yosemite, Kilimanjaro, and Chamonix. Building on his adventurous spirit, Corley has since led Moondance trips, including Northern Lights in 2021, Spain + Morocco in 2022, and Kilimanjaro in 2023. This summer, he returns to lead again, drawing from his experiences as a ranch hand at A Bar A Ranch and a backpacking guide at Inside Out. With a deep connection to nature and a passion for guiding others, Corley is dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for his students, inspiring them to explore, learn, and grow.
Caroline, 23, comes to us from Charlotte, North Carolina. Caroline is a recent graduate from Carnegie Mellon and is headed back for a Master’s program in hardware engineering in the fall! Caroline has found a passion for her academics, but other extracurricular activities as well. Caroline is studying Electrical and Computer Engineering, but in her free time is a member of the Triathlon Club, Explorers Club, and the Club Swim Team. Caroline has had lots of experience with Moondance as she participated on four trips as a student–California, Colorado trail, Maui, and Pacific Northwest! Her own Moondance experience changed her life, instilling in her an appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors and a desire to share it with others. She participated in a semester-long NOLS course during her gap year before beginning college and honed her outdoor skills before beginning as a Trip Leader. Her love for Moondance was reflected in her incredible summers leading Northern Lights in 2022, Yosemite in 2023, and Kilimanjaro in 2024; all testaments to her incredible hard skills abilities. We can’t wait to see what kind of impact she makes during her fourth year with Moondance!
