Marga, 21, brings her vibrant energy and global perspective to Moondance's Belize + Costa Rica trip this summer. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Marga is currently a senior at Wofford College, pursuing dual majors in Biology and English. As a seasoned leader on campus, Marga has served as the Head Residential Advisor and Campus Union president, demonstrating her commitment to fostering community and enriching student life. With a background in competitive athletics as a member of the Wofford track & field team, Marga embodies resilience and teamwork, qualities she with her students this summer. Meg, 20, is a native of Cooperstown, NY, and is currently a sophomore at Sewanee, where she is pursuing her BA in Public Relations. With two adventurous years under her belt, Meg cherished her journeys as a student with Moondance, exploring destinations like Belize, Costa Rica, Ecuador, and the Galapagos Islands. During her high school years, Meg honed her leadership skills as a Sailing Instructor at Cooperstown Country Club, where she shared her love for the water with others. Additionally, Meg embarked on a life-changing adventure spending a semester at sea, where she experienced the raw power and tranquility of the open ocean. These experiences further fueled her passion for outdoor exploration and personal growth, and she looks forward to sharing those ideals with her students this summer!
