Connor Schwartz, 22, hails from New Orleans, Louisiana and recently graduated from LSU with a degree in Finance. Before entering the corporate world, Connor could not pass up the opportunity to experience Moondance for the first time and help create the trip of a lifetime for his students. He developed a passion for working with teenagers as a counselor at Krewe de Camp and serving his local community as a swim coach at Crawfish Aquatics. While in Baton Rouge, Connor furthered his leadership abilities by founding and serving as co-President of the LSU Investment club. We are so excited to have Connor on board for summer 2023 and can’t wait to watch the incredible impact he has on his students in Maui!

John Daniels, 20, is from Mobile, Alabama and just finished up his sophomore year at Birmingham-Southern College where he is a member of Men’s Golf Team! As a three-time alum—through our Iceland, Spain + Morocco, and Hawaiian Islands trips—John brings a wealth of Moondance experience and excitement to his first summer as a Trip Leader. He loves every aspect of Moondance and can’t wait to teach the lessons he learned on his trips to his students—most importantly the importance of unplugging and not taking any moment for granted. John grew up in and around the Mobile and Dauphin Bay’s and we can’t wait to see his love for watersports in action on our Maui trip! We couldn’t be more thrilled for John to share his vibrant and hilarious personality with his students this summer!

Sarah Collier, 22, hails from Memphis, Tennessee and is a two-time Moondance alum! Her experiences on the beaches of Fiji in 2016 and then on Mount Kilimanjaro in 2019 made a huge impact on her life—and she can’t wait to create similar memories for her students this summer. Sarah is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama where she majored in Marketing and was involved with a number of clubs and organizations like the Be the Match Campaign, Cryptocurrency Club, and the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. After spending the summer of 2021 working as an assistant teacher at Buntyn Preschool, she decided to live in Florence, Italy last summer to study abroad and immerse herself in European culture! Sarah is extremely charismatic and energetic and has the unique ability to be able to connect with just about anyone. Her students are going to love her in Maui this year!
