Charlie Jones, 20, grew up in Greensboro, North Caroline, and currently studies Psychology and Political Science at UNC Chapel Hill. Charlie spends much of his free time coaching elementary students in soccer and working for the UNC Solar Equity Project. While in high school, Charlie served as the head instructor for the sailing club, earned his Eagle Scout Award, and was captain of the soccer team. Charlie’s favorite memories outdoors come from his time at Falling Creek Camp, and he hopes to recreate them this summer! Charlie has a lot of love to give his students, maturity to guide his students towards leadership, and passion to give the job everything he has this summer!
Emma Cutter Stark, 21, joins the Moondance Family for the first time from Charlotte, North Carolina! She is currently a rising senior at UNC: Chapel Hill where she is majoring in Peace, War, and Defense with an emphasis in Pre Law. Can I get a GO Tar Heels!? Emma Cutter, or “EC” as she is commonly known, spent 10 summers at Camp Seafarer—seven as a camper and then three as a counselor. Last summer, she flexed her Spanish fluency as a legal assistant in Barcelona, Spain. She is currently an Operations and Lesson Development Intern for The Social Institute and serves as the Vice President of Events and Programming for her sorority at UNC! EC has a consistently positive, kind, and outgoing personality that is going to enable her to absolutely thrive as a Trip Leader. We are so excited for her to meet her students on Belize + Costa Rica!
Sinclair Walker, 21, was born in Louisiana, but spent most of her life growing up in the Music City–Nashville, TN! She just finished her sophomore year at Washington and Lee University where she is double majoring in Spanish and Art History. Highly involved on campus, Sinclair is a member of the Outing Club, serves as a trip leader for the Pre-Orientation week Appalachian Adventure, and hosts a weekly radio show on WLUR! She fell in love with Moondance on her first trip in Maui in 2017 and then came back to do South Africa and Chamonix! Ever since then, Sinclair has dreamed of the day she would be a Trip Leader and we are so excited for her to get to do just that this summer on Belize + Costa Rica!
