Spencer, now 25, brings his passion for mentorship and the outdoors to his role as a Trip Leader with Moondance. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Spencer graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Psychology. Spencer’s love for the outdoors blossomed during his time at Camp Tekoa, where he cherished the relationships he built, the new experiences he encountered, and the sense of fulfillment in every moment. Throughout high school, Spencer demonstrated his leadership abilities by being elected to the Student Athletic Leadership Team, captaining his swim team, and serving as a teaching assistant for math at Clemson University. With boundless energy, a zest for creating memorable moments, and a deep passion for mentorship, Spencer is poised to be an exceptional leader. Now residing and working in Denver, Spencer is excited to lead the Kenya + Zanzibar trip this year, where he will inspire his students to embrace adventure, foster meaningful connections, and create lifelong memories.
