Sandy, 22, is from Atlanta, Georgia and recently graduated from the University of Virginia. While in Charlottesville, Sandy studied Global Environments and Sustainability and was involved with UNICEF at UVA, the Blueprint Leadership Program, and served as a Culture of Respect Educator. Additionally, she used the spring of her junior year to expand her education at the School of International Training in Portugal! She also was Sandy first discovered her love for the outdoors while attending the Outdoor Academy, a semester-long boarding school that delivers experiential education. She is driven, quick to get involved in leadership roles, and enthusiastic about everything she does. Sandy knocked it out of the park on our Colorado Trail trip in 2023 and we are so excited to welcome her back for Year 2 as a Moondance Leader!
