Rose, now 26, continues her journey of service and leadership as a Trip Leader with Moondance. Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, Rose graduated Cum Laude from Washington & Lee University with a major in Psychology. Currently pursuing her Masters in Social Work at NYU graduate school, Rose has dedicated herself to working with teenagers and fostering positive environments. Her passion for mentorship began as a camp counselor at Camp Ozark and further developed through roles as an Appalachian Adventure Leader, W&L Outing Club leader, and W&L peer counselor. Before starting at NYU, Rose served as a family advocate and safe haven resident advisor in Colorado Springs, where she continued to make a difference in the lives of others. With a deep commitment to serving others, spreading joy, and creating loving environments, Rose embodies the spirit of leadership and compassion. After leading the Kilimanjaro trip last year, Rose returns this year as a Trip Leader for the Chamonix trip. Her dedication, warmth, and empathy will undoubtedly make her an exceptional leader, guiding her students through transformative experiences and empowering them to reach new heights. We are thrilled to have Rose back with us, and we know she will continue to inspire and uplift those around her. Welcome back, Rose!
