Reed, now 22, brings his passion for the outdoors and leadership to his role as a Trip Leader with Moondance. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Reed recently graduated from Auburn University with a degree in English Literature. His journey with leadership and the outdoors began during his freshman year of college when he discovered his love for fly fishing, which eventually led him to work at Falling Creek Camp last summer. As a Camp Counselor and Fly Fishing Guide, Reed cultivated his passion for relationship building, honed his leadership skills, and shared his love for the outdoors with every camper he encountered. Drawing from this experience, along with his personable, confident, and caring nature, Reed is ready to embark on his first summer as a Moondance leader. Leading the trip to the Dolomites this year, Reed is eager to live in the moment and make a lasting impression on every life he touches while sharing his passion for the outdoors. We are thrilled to have Reed as part of the Moondance team, and we know he will inspire and empower his students to embrace new adventures and create meaningful connections.
