Mollie, 21, grew up in Louisville, Tennessee and is a senior at the University of Tennessee majoring in Nutrition. Mollie is a member of the Leadership Knoxville Scholars, which is a two-year leadership development and community immersion program. She is also a member of the Student Alumni Association, a volunteer at a local medical clinic, an undergraduate research assistant and a teaching assistant for the UT Chemistry department. As a student, Mollie went on three of our Moondance trips: Ecuador + Galapagos, Kilimanjaro, and Thailand. Her leaders were thrilled to endorse her tolerance for adversity, respect for others, and kindness when she turned 21 and applied! Mollie’s experiences on her trips and lasting relationships with her leaders will provide her with unique and valuable skills as a trip leader. After making an incredible addition to the Moondance community during the 2023 summer on Hawaiian Islands, Mollie is returning for the 2024 summer; we cannot wait to see her people skills and passion for Moondance back in action!
