Maggie, now 22, brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the Moondance family as she embarks on another journey as a trip leader. Originally from Charlotte, Maggie is a recent graduate from the University of North Carolina, where she studied Psychology and Chemistry. Throughout her time at UNC, Maggie has been actively involved in various clubs and organizations, showcasing her dedication to both academic and extracurricular pursuits. Maggie’s connection to Moondance runs deep, stemming from her eight summers at Camp Merriwood and her transformative experience on the South Africa trip in 2017. Inspired by her sister Sarah’s glowing reviews of her own Moondance leaders, Maggie is eager to create similar impactful experiences for her own students. As she leads the Hawaiian Islands trip again this summer, Maggie’s warmth, enthusiasm, and dedication to creating unforgettable memories will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on her students.
