Gretchen, now 23, brings her passion for mentorship and adventure to her role as a Trip Leader with Moondance. A graduate = from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a major in Communication Studies and Media & Journalism, Gretchen grew up in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Her journey into mentorship began during her high school years when she served as a counselor for Camp Cheerio, where she cherished the opportunity to make lasting memories with her campers. Drawing from these experiences, Gretchen is eager to create an unforgettable summer for her Moondance students. Energetic, intelligent, and passionate about working with teenagers, Gretchen is well-equipped to lead her students on an incredible journey in Maui. Having spent the past winter working in Jackson Hole, Gretchen brings a wealth of outdoor experience and adventure to her role. We are thrilled to have Gretchen as part of the Moondance team, and we know she will inspire her students to embrace new experiences, foster meaningful connections, and create lifelong memories in Kenya + Zanzibar.
