Ellie, 21, is originally from Davidson, NC. Currently a sophomore at UNC Chapel Hill, Ellie is pursuing a dual major in Journalism and Psychology, reflecting her passion for understanding people and sharing their stories. Having adventured through Croatia as a Moondance student, she now takes the helm as a leader, guiding her students through the Pacific Northwest this summer. Drawing from her enriching experiences at the Alzar school, where she split time between Idaho and Patagonia, and her role as a counselor at Camp Illahee last summer, Ellie’s experiences have prepared her for this leadership role! We believe Ellie will serve as a positive role model to all of her students, and we can’t wait to see how she encourages them to embrace themselves throughout their adventures this summer!
