Parker, 21, is from Montgomery, Alabama, and is currently a junior at Sewanee: The University of the South, where he is studying Forestry. His love for the outdoors and mentorship is evident in his experience as a camp counselor at Camp McDowell and as the Head Lifeguard at the YMCA of Montgomery, where he developed strong leadership and teamwork skills. Parker is also a member of Sewanee’s prestigious Order of the Gown, reflecting his dedication to academics and community. With his passion for adventure, mentorship, and the natural world, Parker is sure to be an incredible role model for his students this summer at Moondance!

Davis, 20, is from Norfolk, Virginia, and is a sophomore at Wake Forest University studying Communications. He joined Moondance as a student on the 2022 Kilimanjaro trip and before that, grew up attending Camp Chanco and Camp Silver Beach. At Wake, Davis serves as the social chair for his fraternity and is a member of the climbing and finance clubs. We’re excited to welcome Davis back to Moondance, where he’s ready to help create the same unforgettable experience for his students that he had on his trip.

Mary Claire, 22, is from Greensboro, North Carolina, and recently graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Media and Journalism and a minor in Business Administration. She has honed her communication and leadership skills as an Account Associate for Heelprint Communications, a student-run creative agency, and as a Wellness Team Writer for Coulture Magazine. Her love for global exploration took her to Florence, Italy, for a study abroad experience, and she also spent a summer in Switzerland assisting Alter Start. With her passion for storytelling, adventure, and connecting with others, Mary Claire is sure to bring incredible energy and enthusiasm to Moondance this summer!
