Brooke Butterfield, 25, is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and studied Marine Science. Brooke is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Marine Biology at Bangor University in North Wales! She has experience sailing and conducting oceanographic research in various parts of the world. Brooke worked at the Marine Dynamics Institute and has loved her research in coral reef ecosystems. She is a SCUBA extraordinaire, and we are so excited for Brooke to bring her passion and enthusiasm for marine life to Moondance this summer. Her experience as a leader and her commitment to learning is inspiring to us all. Her positivity and love for nature helped her shine while leading our Hawaiian Islands trip in 2021, Thailand in 2022, and Croatia in 2023. We are so excited for Brooke to bring her joy and positivity to Kenya + Zanzibar!
