Laura was raised in Mill Valley, California, but after earning her sociology degree from the University of Colorado - Boulder, she now calls Boulder her home. Prior to Moondance, Laura was a counselor at Mountain Camp in the Sierra Nevadas for four years where she served as a ropes course instructor. While in high school, Laura was a three year captain of her Varsity soccer team as well as her school’s track team. Laura has explored the dramatic landscapes of Australia and New Zealand as well as the Tetons, Sierra Nevadas, Rockies, the mountains through British Columbia and spent five months last spring exploring Central and South America! In addition, she recently returned from Thailand and Vietnam.
